Youth on Patrol: Messengers Of God

Youth on Patrol: Messengers of God is a youth group who have dedicated their lives to God and serving Him with their whole hearts.  They believe that God can use them in helping to bring others to Christ.  They also believe that God has created them for His purpose and has plans for them in helping to build His kingdom.  Some of these plans include:

-ministering to others through singing, dancing, praising and acting (drama performances)

-telling others about His goodness and mercy

-inviting others to come to their church to learn more about God

-visiting others who may not be able to attend church

-blessing others with gifts, tokens of love, food, clothes, and/or money.

 

The foundation of the Youth on Patrol are built on these principles of the Word:

 

Jeremiah 1:7– But the Lord said unto me, say not, I am a child, for thou shall go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee, thou shall speak.

Matthew 28:19-20a-Go ye therefore, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded.

Acts 1:8-But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the Earth.

Isaiah 61:1-2– The spirit of the Lord God is upon me because he has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek, he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God.

    
The Youth in these two groups will learn more about God and His purpose for their lives by attending church service, Sunday School class, Family Bible Study, and youth workshops/conferences.  By attending these sessions, the youth will learn the Word through scriptures and prayer, and learn how to be bold and mighty warriors of God.

 
     The Youth on Patrol consists of youth who are from 2-11 years old, and Messengers of God consists of youth who are from 12-18 years old.  Both groups are able, willing vessels who are old enough to be used by God to tell others about His Word and to help encourage others to accept Christ into their lives.

         
Our Goals and Beliefs

We believe that God has commanded us to go into the uttermost parts of the world to proclaim His gospel, to bring joy and peace to the brokenhearted (through the Word), and to offer salvation to all who will open their hearts to accept it.  God has anointed us to tear down the camps that Satan has set up (Jeremiah 1:10-”to root out, to pull down, to destroy and to throw down”), to rebuild and to establish a stronger kingdom of believers.
